North Carolina Resources: Gauging Success

North Carolina tracked screening rates and conducted surveys to assess provider perceptions of the implementation of perinatal and pediatric communication tools developed for use at its pilot sites. The project has developed strategies for continual measurement.

  • Provider Survey
    North Carolina ABCD I Project This survey instrument consists of questions designed to measure the provider’s perception of their individual knowledge and attitudes regarding developmental screening tools, Early Intervention Services, and particular federal laws. In addition, the survey instrument presents questions about the policies regarding developmental screening and referral procedures in the provider’s practice setting.
