In its work with the Medicaid agency to support the new screening policy, the project developed and offered five trainings in the fall of 2004. These 5-hour, 1-day trainings were designed to serve quality improvement teams from pediatric and family practices. For those practices unable to participate in the day-long training, the project developed a 1-hour video and companion workbook. The project developed resources, including an office resource guide, designed to help primary care practices integrate standardized developmental screening into their workflow.
