Prior to participation in a collaborative few practices used a standardized screening tool. After participation the use of a tool increased to 76 and 84 percent in the learning collaborative practices. The learning collaborative sites demonstrated rates of referrals based on social-emotional screening of 62 and 77 percent for those children in need of referrals.
